The International Summer School on Trade and Logistics of Universidad del Istmo, based in Panama City, Panama, offers an intensive program in logistics and international trade, with an emphasis in maritime transport.  Considering Panama’s global recognition in trade, Universidad del Istmo opens its doors to foreign students interested in learning or deepening their knowledge in this subject.  The program is designed to prepare individuals in concepts such as logistics, international trade, and banking.   These will be taught through classes, conferences and case studies.    The Program is fully taught in English.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to visit logistics centers on both coasts of the country.   This program also offers a 42-hour intensive Spanish course for foreigners, and English for native Spanish speakers, both emphasizing in trade and international logistics vocabulary.

This Program on Trade and Logistics is based on 114 course hours.

This program is aimed at students who want to learn or expand their knowledge in logistics, trade and international business, under real-life circumstances in order to provide firsthand experiences.

The International Summer School on Trade and Logistics in Panama is a 3-week course, Monday thru Friday, 7 hours per day, including language classes.  

Accommodation in hotel or student residence - double room during the stay.

Access to university facilities, open spaces for recreation, library, computer rooms, gymnasium, among others.

Breakfast, lunch, and coffee break from Monday thru Friday are included, internal transportation for visits and cultural outings.
